A PetNet makes the perfect addition to our Hatchbag, to create a safe and petproof environment in the back of your vehicle. Please note, that this is a mesh fabric barrier and does not work the way a metal barrier might work as a more permanent restraint. Also note that this item is not returnable if it has been taken out of the package and placed on your car.
Please note for proper fit:
It is critical that the area be cleaned with the lacquer thinner before
attaching the velcro. It should be wiped several times at each
location then let dry. If these are squares for the net, customer
should mark with a pencil the center of area he has cleaned, as
sometimes you can't tell where your cleaned area is located. You may
want to refer back to this description when you receive your item so
that you don't have to purchase new velcro.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Hatchbag
How Does It Attach to the Car?
The mesh attaches to the side of the car interior at 3 locations with a 3M product called dual lock. It is a 1"Square adhesive piece that attaches to the molding at highest point without getting on the headliner. Another attaches approx 15" below the 1st and another approx. 15" below the middle.
Where Does It Go?
It can be installed behind the front seat or the 2nd seat. It goes directly behind either of the seats. It does not have to be installed in a direct verticle line from top to bottom making it very versatile.
How Do I Figure Out Width Measurements?
The top width is the most critical. Measurement should be taken from molding to molding (not glass to glass) or (headliner to headliner). Measure width at highest point without getting on the roofliner.
If your vehicle is not on our product list, most times we can recommend a size if we know the make and manufacturer of the car. You may want to add this to your checkout comments. The following is a helpful guide, but you should check the measurements of your car for an accurate fit. Please do not put this item on your car if you feel you may need to make a return. Any contact with your car makes this a used item.

Important Information for Attaching Parts
Make sure the silicone is completely removed! It takes several wipings of each location with lacquer cleaner to get all of the silicone from the vinyl and plastic molding. Once the patch has been touched or falls off it is no longer any good.
TIPS AND HINTS
FOR LINERS AND NETS
- * CLEANING This is very critical and the newer the vehicle, the more careful you must be in removing the silicone from the surface of the plastic/vinyl. Use a clean cloth and wipe each area where an adhesive patch will adhere. Clean 6-7 times at each location using a clean area of cloth with lacquer thinner and wiping just a few seconds. This will soften the silicone and lift a little off with each treatment. If the adhesive does not adhere to the surface, then all this silicone was not removed. Repeat the cleaning instructions again.
- * REMOVING Adhesives The velcro type adhesives that mount to the vehicle are not permanent. There is no apoxy, glue or dyes. When you get ready to remove them permanently, any residue that remains can be easily removed with any household cleaner. ŠTaking off this sticky residue over the years, a good solution of hot soapy (powdered detergent works best) water, then wipe with alcohol does a good job.You will never know they were there, but the interior of the vehicle will look just the same as when you drove it off the dealers lot.
- * We have used our liner for years in our Suburban and have found that loosening the plastic molding that holds the carpet down in the back and slipping the end of the liner under this piece and tightening it back down, holds the liner in place and keeps any dirt, sand, or grit from working underneath.
- * If you are using your cargo area to slide crates or boxes in and out, you may want to put 3 strips of the hook(hard) side of a velcro(TM) type fastener on the bottom of the liner and press it into the carpet to keep the liner from slipping when sliding items in and out 3 Pieces cut the width of the bottom and placed on bottom of liner spaced evenly from front to back will give a good secure hold.
